naht aspire was developed between naht and edisonlearning as a collaborative partnership to build capacity within participating schools and bring about long term sustainable improvement. at the centre of the aspire model is the edisonlearning 5 strand design. developed from international research the 5 strands include leadership, pedagogy and curriculum, learning environment, assessment for learning and student and family support and are all built around the features of highly effective schools identified through international research . originally delivered as a three year pilot programme and independently evaluated by the university of derby, aspire now provides a number of routes into school improvement. a two year partnership programme for schools or networks of schools looking for intensive support to provide long term sustainable change. aspire peer review – delivering a comprehensive baseline of strengths and weaknesses mapped against the 5 strand design and from where development priorities are identified. aspire components: elements from the 5 strand design providing specific solutions to areas identified through peer review or self-diagnosis. aspire programmes are supported by our team of advisers, who all offer extensive experience from across the education spectrum. programme delivery is through (network days) which are followed up in the schools (development days) . advisers develop a deep understanding of their school partners and ensure that each school’s implementation plan is relevant, focused and monitored through a robust termly review cycle involving leaders, advisers and governors. who is aspire for?
